Historian’s narration was very interesting. The staff were very helpful. The dinner was rather unpleasant.

High expectations not too great results in terms of food and seats. Seats should be positioned so that everyone has a good view vantage of the hat out while the guide is narrating historical view. We have to twist and turn to get a glimpse of mentioned area as narrated. Food was okay but need more flavor, in my opinion though I saw some people really enjoying beef ribs served! Captain and staff entertaining and obliging to photo request. Over all good experience if you have not seen this coastline and captain cooks monument.

Went on this Dinner cruise via Hilton Grand Vacations as an owner reward for doing a tour. We only paid $99 for 2 of us ($50 each) and it was definitely worth it for that price! Our package included bus transportation to and from our resort, a fresh flower lei, dinner and unlimited drinks! The drink selection was awesome. They had pretty much a full bar including a great selection of Hawaiian beer and frozen drinks/smoothies. I definitely recommend the Ube Colada! The food was just ok. As a Gluten Free person, it was nice that everything on the current menu (minus the dinner roll) was Gluten free. We had Ribs, vegetable curry, and rice. The dessert (cheesecake) is also not gluten free. The historical part of the tour was good and the live music/entertainment was great! All of the staff and bartenders were Super nice and provided attentive service. There wasn’t a “dress code” which was nice, it was really come as you are whether that is super casual or a bit dressed up. Definitely recommend bringing a light jacket as it was pretty breezy out there. The ride down to Captain Cook was pretty smooth. But the ride back was pretty rough and some pretty large swells. I got a bit seasick as did some others. This will totally depend on each person and also how windy/wavy it is. We ended up with a beautiful sunset. I definitely recommend this tour if you can get it as part of a discount package like we did. I don’t think I would recommend it for full price especially considering that doesn’t include drinks.
