The crew. From Captain Bob, servers, historian to live musician made the experience wonderful. Unsure how much Body Glove paid the Spinner Dolphins to show up on cue (LOL) but it was remarkable. Dinner and drinks were very good. Staff were very attentive to us all and a lot of fun. Met five or six other couples on the cruise and one very special family (from outside Dallas). Would recommend this cruise to all who come to the Big Island.

SHUT IT DOWN The food was cold and tasted awful. Lots of people were "sick". The historian was hard to understand. Admired the wait staff for all they had to deal with.

Aloha trudyg981, It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy our Historical Sunset Dinner Cruise. We are always interested in improving our service and implementing changes that result in a better experience for our valued guests. We have been operating our Historical Sunset Dinner Cruise for well over ten years and it well received and sells out regularly. Additionally we have been voted the best dinner cruise on our island from our local news paper for all of the years it has been in service. For our valued readers and aficionados-here is our current menu which receives overwhelmingly positive reviews: Starter Mauna Loa Big Island Macadamia Nuts (Vegan/GF) Salad Kealaola Farm Mixed Salad Greens, Waimea Grape Tomatoes, Japanese Cucumber, Red Onion. (Vegan/GF) Served with a House Made Maui Onion Vinaigrette (Vegan/GF) Main Course Thai Coconut Curry with Hamakua Sweet Potatoes, Hawaiian Breadfruit, Carrots, & Bell Peppers (Vegan/GF) Steamed Jasmine Rice (Vegan/GF) Kiawe Mango Barbecue Pork short ribs served with a Papaya salsa (GF) Island Baked Coconut Dinner Rolls served with Butter (Vegetarian) Dessert Cheesecake with a Local Lilikoi Glaze (Vegetarian) In reference to the comment that lots of people were "sick". We recommend that if you know you have a propensity for motion sickness to take the over the counter motion sickness remedy Dramamine or Bonine about an hour prior to boarding. Thankfully the majority of our guests do not experience sea sickness however, unfortunately even in the calmest, flattest ocean some folks still do. Thank you for joining us. We wish you all the best!
