What To Expect

Kailua Pier

Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.

Kealakekua Bay

Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.

We visited Kona for the first time. We took this dinner cruise to see sights that were difficult to see from land. The weather didn’t cooperate and rain came in. The captain did a great job of keeping us out of the rain. While we didn’t get to see dolphins we enjoyed the cruise. The food was good. It consisted of a salad, ribs, rice, vegetables in a curry sauce, roll, and cheesecake. Two adult beverages were complimentary. The drinks were reasonably priced if you choose to purchase more. Soda, water, juice, and coffee were complimentary. I cannot say enough good things about the staff on the boat. Every staff member was friendly and they worked hard to make everyone comfortable. They are young kids who enjoy their job. The musician was good. We sat on the top deck and found the historian difficult to follow, but I am sure we would have enjoyed her more if we were on the lower deck. Book this cruise. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I were in Hawaii over Christmas and New Years. We thought the cruise would be a nice time and we were right. The food was very good and plentiful and the service was great. There was live narration and the narrator had alot of knowledge of the area. And when the narrator took a break, nice Hawaii music played.
