Set sail on the west coast of Hawaii Island for a 3-hour cruise to Captain Cook’s Monument for dinner, as a local historian shares stories and legends of the sites you will see along the way. What To Expect

Kailua Pier

Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.

Kealakekua Bay

Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.

This was a wonderful experience, great food, drinks, educational and entertainment!! The staff was superb, extremely friendly and attentive. A must do when on the big island!!

We have done this cruise twice, once in 2012 and once in 2016. It was fantastic both times, the local historian giving commentary on the history around the native's activities through history and Captain Cook were very interesting. We did have Dolphins jumping in front of and around the boat and both trips. The sunset was fantastic as well. The food was good but not great and the drinks were the same. Overall, a good experience.
