What To Expect

Kailua Pier

Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.

Kealakekua Bay

Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.

Staff was amazing. Smooth ride and very educational. The entertainer was very good and we even got to see some dolphins riding along with the boat.

Staff was friendly. Food was good. Checking in up the street from the boat and dock was a bit challenging getting to the dock to find the multicolored umbrella marking the boarding location. Once there everything was easy

Aloha Companion23599627839, Mahalo for sharing! Unfortunately Kona has very little free parking. We are pleased to read that once you were at the boat you enjoyed your time with us! Thank you for joining us! For our valued readers, we are fortunate to provide our guests with free parking at our retail shop shopping center which is about a block away from the pier. I am a fast walker and it takes me about five minutes to walk down to the boat. Guests may join us in our retail store to check in for their cruise before walking down or may proceed straight away to the Kailua Kona Pier where our vessel awaits them for boarding on the left side of the pier. All of our cruises begin boarding/check in 30 minutes prior to departure to allow for plenty of time for an on-time departure. If you are traveling with a handicapped placard we have limited handicapped spaces on the pier. Call our reservations team to reserve one if that's the case.
