Dinner cruise was fine, but not overwhelmingly great. Cool to see the coast line from that perspective, and music and storytelling was nice. Food was fine though nothing exceptional. Dinner was awkwardly severed (served in chunks while you sail out to the bay; would have been more pleasant to sail and then eat dinner stationary in the bay). You are not in the actual bay for long. Crew was nice. If you really like cruises, you may enjoy it. In the grand scheme of all the other things we did while on the Big Island, this was the event that fell flattest. (ps - if you get sea sick, be prepared for choppy waters and a real tough ride)

Aloha Eversoncl, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate all feed back and are happy to implement changes when we can. Our timing and service sequence is designed in such a way that our food may be served while it is hot and fresh. We also do not serve in the bay because we find that folks want to get up and walk around the boat to take photos. Typically our ocean conditions are quite smooth on this side of the island. We have the world's tallest and most massive mountains (Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa) shielding us from most winds and rough sea conditions. We wish you the very best!

On this tour we experienced American guides delighting in their work and providing customer service not often found in the US. Thank you, Captain Jeremy and crew for your attention to the tourists on board. Your sincere pride in your craft, your island and your industry is remarkable and appreciated. And, of course, Hawaii does not disappoint in beauty. The sights were breathtaking, as always. The tour was well timed, the boat was clean, the meal was portioned well, hot and delicious. The guide was easy to hear and understand. Live music on board was so welcoming. Drinks were tasty and swiftly prepared.
