Set sail on the west coast of Hawaii Island for a 3-hour cruise to Captain Cook’s Monument for dinner, as a local historian shares stories and legends of the sites you will see along the way. What To Expect

Kailua Pier

Boarding is 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests are greeted with Island Style Pupus (Appetizers), a complimentary cocktail, Historical Narration and live Hawaiian style music.

Kealakekua Bay

Cruise 24 miles round trip along Kona's Gold Coast learning Hawaiian history, stories, and legends. The narrator will point out many landmarks along the way to Kealakekua Bay that are not visible from land. The narration concludes upon arrival to the bay and dinner is served. The cruise back to the Kailua Pier features live Hawaiian style music, gorgeous vistas of the Kona coastline and sunset.

The sunset was beautiful, the music was great, the meal was delicious and the story teller was easy to listen to.

The crew was great. The seas were a bit rough, my wife got seasick. This was not an inexpensive trip so I had moderately high expectations of a good dinner. I’ve read the review responses about the food. I know they could do better. The drinks were good. Not their fault but the sunset was so cloudy you couldn’t even get a decent photo. Basically overpriced for what you get.

Aloha cranedawg, Thank you for sharing your opinion. We're glad that you thought our crew was great! Our vessel is a 65' foot rigid hull catamaran and the great news is that the vast majority do not get sea sick. Unfortunately some folks, regardless of the ocean's conditions, do have the propensity to get motion sickness. We recommend if you know that you may, to consider taking some motion sickness remedy such as Dramamine at least an hour prior to boarding. We have Dramamine on board for sale and complimentary ginger drinks just in case. The price of the trip includes a three hour cruise aboard a lovely two million dollar catamaran, live music, historical narration and round trip cruise to Kealakekua Bay-home of Captain Cook's monument. The meal service is prepared in house and is served by our crew. We also offer a complimentary cocktail and a full service no- host bar thereafter. Sunsets are of course included and are typically beautiful. It's unfortunate that the night you joined us there was cloud cover. We wish you the very best!

Totally a rocky experience. How do they expect you to enjoy when your bouncing around. Couldn’t eat. It’s not a practical excursion. Almost everyone was sick. Worse part is your stuck. 3 hours! Never again. Money down the drain. Plus side… staff was extremely friendly and nice. I regret booking and wish I could get my money back.
