We booked this tour through Expedia. The morning of the tour, Aug. 29th, 2019, we arrived 30 min. early, just to be sure we were in the right location. There were a variety of tours meeting at this location and no one had any info on this tour or this company. We finally reached Take Walks and they are located in a different state, and they tried to reach tour guide Thalia, she was not answering her phone. They described what she looked like and what signage she should be holding if she were there. She was not there. They apologized and offered to reschedule, but we were not able to retake the tour. We asked how we get a refund for what we had paid, and they said that was our responsibility to get the refund through Expedia. Just writing as a warning for those of you wanting to take this tour. p.s. - The tour company does not use this Title as the title for the tour which made communication difficult on both ends.

Born and raised in Manhattan, and even working in the Wall Street area for many years, I thought I knew the sites and the history, I was happily mistaken. Jerry, the tour guide, showed me places that I had previously seen, but knew very little about. From the Museum of the American Indian to the Fearless Girl, the Bull and it's history, JP Morgan's contributions and so many other fascinating figures and sites, I honestly couldn't get enough. I highly recommend this tour, as well as any tour that Jerry navigates. He is knowledgeable, agreeable, pleasant to speak to, listens to your input and an absolute pleasure. I am planning more tours with him shortly.

Initially, we only booked one tour from Viator as we have a lot of places to be and food to tey but we managed to squeeze in a short but very informative and fun experience around Financial District. We are also fortunate to have a wonderful 80 degrees, partly cloudy day. Much more so is our very fun guide, Alice. The neighborhood is much more than what you think of the financial district. This tour will give you insights of what it was in the past. A must to do if you only have a very limited time in NYC.
