Let's go explore America’s oldest city and learn about the three different countries that controlled St. Augustine for most of the past 450 years. You will walk along our famous harbor and see the oldest masonry fort in America. Get to know the oldest grid system in our country, while walking the same streets as people like buccaneer Robert Searle, Henry Flagler, Theodore Roosevelt, Robert Frost and even Martin Luther King Jr did many years ago. This was our first trip to St. Augustine and Alex's St Augustine Experience walking tour was incredible! My husband and I learned so much about the long history of St Augustine. So many highlights including learning about the Castillo, discovering some off the beaten path treasure and an extra highlight was learning about Andrew Young's time in St Augustine in 1964 being the impetus to get the Civil Rights Act passed. Alex was welcoming, knowledgeable, energetic, patient with questions and offered to be available for any other questions we had during our stay. We tried one of his restaurant recommendations for lunch- Meehans and WOW! it will be a must stop. An amazing fish sandwich! If there were 6 stars, I would give this tour 6 DO IT!
