Capture the holiday spirit at festive locales and settings from your favorite flicks during a private holiday lights and movie sites tour of New York City. On this guided driving tour, you’ll pass by iconic sites such as the holiday store displays of Macy’s and Fifth Avenue, stop for a photo in front of the towering Lincoln Center tree and relive your favorite cinematic scenes with on-screen clips as you pass by real film sites from iconic movies.

  • Limited wheelchair accessibility. Buses are not equipped with wheelchair lifts. Storage is available for foldable wheelchairs. Passengers must be able to get on and off the bus of their own accord. Wheelchairs may be taken out at the stops if desired.
  • All tours are led by tour guides, and take place on luxury coach buses. Buses are air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Most buses are equipped with bathrooms.

I very much enjoyed spending the afternoon on the holiday lights and movie sites tour. We were lucky enough to have Jason as our guide, a movie lover chock full of information about movies and film locations. Two years earlier he had taken us on another movie locations tour and we remembered him from that great tour. He remembered us too. The bus was very comfortable and we especially liked the attention to detail, down to holiday cookies! Thanks for a great afternoon! We'll definitely do another tour.

This was a GREAT tour. I would recommend it to anyone going to NYC for the Christmas season. Our tour guide, Dao, was wonderful and very engaging. He was energetic and kept us laughing just about the whole time. I took my daughters (15 & 13) and they enjoyed it as much as I did. I would definitely do another bus tour with On Location the next time I am in NYC.

Mid-town evenings are a mob-scene this time of year. This On-location tour was well-paced with very pleasant Jason filling in the stretches between locations with interesting banter and movie clips of what we will soon be seeing. Stops were just long enough to see the store windows New York is famous for. Bus was comfortable and bathroom equipped.
