  • Limited wheelchair accessibility. Buses are not equipped with wheelchair lifts. Storage is available for foldable wheelchairs. Passengers must be able to get on and off the bus of their own accord. Wheelchairs may be taken out at the stops if desired.
  • All tours are led by tour guides, and take place on luxury coach buses. Buses are air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Most buses are equipped with bathrooms.

The tour was fine but nothing special as we expected. I think the lack of focus on the Holiday lights was the reason for a lack of a WOW factor. The actor/tour guide was more into movie locations. Ironically he did not pick out very interesting clips as part of his "schtick" to make the point. Some of the classics rather than a repeating of Elf and Home Alone would have made that part of the tour far better. The ginger bread cookie he passed out was a nice touch. Also I would extend the tour at least 30 minutes to allow more time at the short walking-about points. Definitely need more holiday decoration stops.

We recently went to NYC and in order to get in to the Christmas spirit we my wife and I booked ourselves on to the 'Holiday Lights & Movie Sites Tour' provided by On Location Tours. The tour itself consists of a coach ride around a fairly small area of Manhattan, pointing out Christmas movie locations, whilst watching the corresponding movie clip on TV screens in the coach. We also stopped off at a few of the big department stores to see their excellent Christmas store front displays (Macy's and Bloomingdales). Our tour guide, Max, was excellent and really added to the experience, giving us insights in to 'happenings' on the movie sets whilst filming, and other interesting facts. My wife and I both loved this tour and it really got us in to the Christmas spirit. We would not hesitate to use 'On Location Tours' again next time we're in New York. Loved it!
