On arrival at the office where the tours start from, the checkin person showed no interest and in fact kept talking on the phone, stopping his conversation long enough to ask for our name between talking on the phone which seemed to be a personal call. We were told where to sit on the small bus by the driver and got seated on the right hand side of the bus. Although it is a vehicle with open sides, when something on the left hand side was pointed out to the group, those seated on the right hand side couldn't see up the hill because of the roof!! We were told no stopping or getting off for photographs as it wasn't allowed. We had a very brief stop to see the Hollywood sign across the valley. We covered a lot of ground/miles and the driver tried hard to get the people onboard to engage.
My son and I took the option of get off the bus to walk the Hollywood walk of fame.
Although it was May, it was very cold on the bus, so if you are someone who feels the cold take something warm to wear!!
