See Landmark locations including: the Hollywood Sign, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood “Walk of Fame,” Beverly Hills Sign, Rodeo Drive, the Whisky A Go Go, the Beverly Hills Hotel, Sunset Plaza, and the Sunset Strip; including the restaurants and clubs where celebrities dine daily and hang out nightly. The tour duration is 2 hours provided by Ultimate Hollywood Tours. Movie and Film locations throughout Hollywood and Beverly Hills are included.

I was on a recent business trip with a free afternoon so I wanted to find a tour that only took a few hours but maximized my time. After reading a few reviews, I decided on this tour. They do not have parking on site so you have to park across the street in a church parking lot or the YMCA. The office is a little hard to find as it is in a little strip plaza. The tour is an open-air van (that does have a covering to keep the sun off you). The weather was great with low humidity so a perfect day for an open-air tour. Our tour guide for our group of 7 was Kelly and she was great. She had been doing tours for 7 years and was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The 2.5 hour tour was all-over the greater LA area with locations pointed out in Hollywood, lookout location for Hollywood Sign and Hollywood Bowl. She pointed numerous stars homes (like my fav, Katy Perry). We then went to Beverley Hills. Wow, what a clean city with opulence everywhere. We saw the house that Michael Jackson died in, house where Elvis lived in Beverly Hills among others. We also rode Rodeo Drive and more locations on Sunset Blvd., and Century Blvd. I got to see so much in the 2+ hour tour with so many facts and trivia for $39. I really enjoyed it and really liked our tour guide Kelly ("Hi Kelly from the guy from Florida" as we played trivial pursuit also).

Disclaimer...the guide companies do not have celebrities hiding behind trees waiting for us to drive by, so, you need a GREAT tour/tour guide to show you the hangouts and home! Bee was our guide and she has the celebrities dialled right in!! She knows the cars they drive, the houses they live in, peeks through the small gate holes/openings and knows when they are home...all whilst respecting their privacy! She MADE this tour! She in fact, looks a little like Gwen stefani...and knows where Gwens house is! Bonus! Just great fun having someone do the driving and let us sit back, relax and enjoy the view/stories/city information. -church parking is great $10 dollars for the day -Hollywood Blvd only 10 minute walk from the tour office to go spend more time there -you can bring snacks and drinks if you want -guides have vast knowledge of the celebrities homes...ask and they will take you (if it is nearby...not going to bel air or the valley!) We booked for the morning tour meeting at 10am. Ideal parking for the day just behind a church across the street, 10 dollars for the full day. Couple of streets away from the walk of fame. Our tour guide was great, knew his stuff and chucked in plenty of jokes along the way. Driving up along Mulholland Drive and through Beverly Hills was amazing. He pointed out houses that we would have never noticed and told us lots about the history of the area, celebrities and their homes. Great way to get a glimpse into the lives of celebrities that live around LA and Beverly Hills. Great tour, would highly recommend After the tour we wandered over to the walk of fame and Hollywood bvd for photos and lunch. Tips Keep an eye out for highend cars with celebrities behind the wheel. Take bottled water with you. Snacks are allowed on the bus. Tour is over 2 hours so take a bathroom break before you start
