We feel that tips should be voluntarily and not imposed. Perhaps you can pay your guides so they won’t depend totally on tips. We felt uncomfortable looking at tip sign in front of us during tour.

Just did the tour, and the host Dave was amazing. He knew lots about the history, the homes and as he is a local we got to know some fun personal stories about celebrity encounters as well. Saw exactly what I expected of a tour like this and learned lots of new things. Defenitely recommended if you want to see this area in a short amount of time.
