Exactly what I was expecting. In case you are not sure what to expect, there was a single stop where we got out of the van to take pictures of the Hollywood sign. Everything else we saw, we took pictures from the van. Most things are not very picturesque, so you will probably enjoy yourself more just enjoying the sights in the moment rather than trying to get great pictures. Our tour guide was Shaun, and he was very pleasant and entertaining. One last thing, if you are going during a winter month, dress to be warm. The bus is an open-air bus (as advertised) and those winds can get cold. I would recommend this as a do-it-once sort of thing, especially if your out-of-town guests need something to entertain them for a couple hours.

Took a 2 hour celebrity home tour with levi had an awsome time with my friends levi was great and full of information would definitely recomend this tour

Good tour through the Hills. You can see Hollywood Heights and Beverly Hills. It's indescribable how it looks. Very informative and a good guide. Incomparable to German residential areas. The trip optionally ends at the Walk of Fame.
