Iolani Palace
Honolulu has a rich history and the grounds of Iolani Palace have long been considered a sacred place. Built around 1879 - it was a place for royalty and site of a historic coup - the only coup of a sitting monarchy in American history. The last Queen of the land fought for a free Hawaii until her death and her spirit is said to still linger here looking over Honolulu...

Maggie was an amazing guide! She made all of her stories very interesting and engaging! I've done ghost tours in many cities and this is one of the best (especially if you're more interested in learning local lore than hunting for orbs). One of the highlights of my trip!

Our guide was incredibly informative and engaging. He was well-versed on the history of Hawaii and Honolulu and weaved his narratives expertly with the paranormal experiences around the city. The tour starts near the Kamehameha statue and includes stops at the Supreme Court, Iolani Palace, the cemetery nearby, and the mission houses. The expanded tour was worth the extra expense and included an extra four stops along the tour. I cannot recommend this tour enough and had a great time. Since I’m more into history and my wife into paranormal stuff, this tour was an excellent balance for both of our interests.

Booked this tour looking for a fun ghost tour of Honolulu and I was very impressed! I saw that there were no reviews, which worried me at first until I realized it's a fairly new business. Maggie, our tour guide, was the best and very insightful! Regarding the tour itself, it was informative and engaging. We did the extended tour ($5) which was totally worth it. I would definitely recommend!
