Honolulu Sunset & Night Light Painting Experience

Overview

This is a super fun afternoon and night activity that's a little different than anything offered on the islands.

We will start will a fantastic spot to watch the sunset. We have a few places to choose from. You might not always get the sun dipping into the ocean, But the location will be unique.

After the sun sets, we will head to a very dark location where we can start having some fun. Your guide will show you how to light paint. If you have no idea what this is, even better. You will be able to create art at night with our tools.

We recommend bringing a camera that can adjust the settings for long exposures. If you don't, your guide will take some photos with their cameras and email a link after the tour.

Understand that this is a different type of tour you are taking and is more about having fun and learning something new.

Makapu‘U Point

Get familiar at this lookout and the gear to capture the night sky.

Makapu'u Beach

Capture the stars and lighthouse at the beach. We will also do light painting and steel wool photos.

We really enjoyed this photo tour. We don't have experience with making the necessary adjustments to our camera to get great night time shots, and Micah was very patient with us and took time to show us what settings we should use to get the best results. We love the night shots that we were able to take thanks to Micha's help. The light painting was lots of fun, and we are planning on trying this ourselves in our back yard once summer comes! We had a great time on this tour, thanks largely to Micha and his patience and knowledge. Thank you, Micha!

Did not get to see everything because of bad weather. Our guide Mica was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would have been a better trip but can't stop mother nature.

Curt was our tour guide and did a great job. Showed us remote spots we did not know. Provided a perspective my husband and I did not know about. Hawaii. He also gave my husband such valuable instruction that we are already incorporating into our vacation pics. The photos we took seem to be professionally done. Even got a photo of a meteor! Definitely recommend this tour!
