Wanted to look leave a review for Zoltan and Morgan and the full day trip we've just completed.
Zoltan picked us up and drove us to the Hoover Dam where we were escorted by the national parks representative to the base of the Dam. You get in literally as close to the dam as possible and then we were able to paddle upstream to the metal floating barrier that stops all craft from entering the base of the dam. It's a one off way to see the dam and gives you a fantastic perspective of the scale of this impressive structure.
We then took a paddle to the first of three stops, two of which are got springs, and when I say hot, I mean they are upto 43 degrees C as this was being monitored at the time we arrived by the volunteers who maintain the hiking routes and the spring pools.
Our guide Morgan was worth is all day and we had a great time finding out about, the dam, the local wild life, Vegas and other interesting local information, like the two rickety old cable cars used by a water level reader! You'll be amazed by what they had to do twice a day to get accurate water levels and flow rates.
We were also supplied with snacks and water skiing the entirely of the journey as well as a home made lunch, all of which were perfect for the 12 miles paddled and plentifull.
The boats, paddles and bouyancy aides were all in excellent condition and ideal for this journey.
Having only been to Vegas this one time, this trip was just perfect, it have is much needed time away from the madness as well as a well planned and interesting trip out, Thank you Zoltan and Morgan for your time. Cheers Emma and Steve. We'll be back
