It was advertised as a 'character re-enactment' hop on-hop off tour. Traveling with a 13 year old, we decided to pay the extra price to have actors come on board, as we thought it would hold her attention longer. Unfortunately for us, we had only two characters who boarded the trolley, the whole time we were there (5 hours worth). The first one was when we initially boarded the trolley, and the only other one was at the Pirates House. The man there spoke so softly, that those who didn't sit in the first three rows were not able to hear what he said. Of course, the quality of the rest of the tour depended on the driver's knowledge, which varied from great to disappointing, depending on the driver. Also, we were told we'd have to wait 'no more than 20 minutes' for a trolley. Well....that wasn't the case either. Upon boarding the trolley initially, we waited at least 45 minutes, then waited another 40 minutes at the end of the day, to get back to our parked car. They had no 'free parking' as advertised, as they have only a few spots to park, so you have to use a pay-parking lot. Be advised: the visitor center is CLOSED on Mondays and Tuesdays currently (no fault of the tour company). Don't waste your money on this 'upgraded' tour - it's not worth it!

We always strive to provide all of our guest with the very best experience possible and we are sorry this was not the case. We try to have at least 2-3 characters per tour, and we are very sorry that this was not the case. We would also like to apologize for the parking and wait times, we had a higher than normal influx of passengers due to a overwhelming number of people in Savannah that day. We appreciate your review and we hope that you will give us another try next time you're in Savannah.

We enjoyed each square, the river front and the stories our tour guide shared. Weather was perfect. Most People practiced social distancing. Our tour guide

It was the best. We had to chase the trolley for three stops to get back to our staring point. The drivers,, however, were very nice
