Mike and Rose were amazing! They match you with a horse that will work with your comfort level. The trail is beautiful! Just the right amount of thrill going uphill and downhill. 2 hours was the right amount of time for us (beginners). A must-do if youā€™re in the Bryce Canyon area. I would give more stars if I could. You can tell they take very good care of their horses.

Great adventure, beautiful scenery and amazing guides. Rose and Steve were so kind, took extra care of my son (special needs) who was very nervous for his first time on a horse. My family had such a great time!

We did the 1/2 day trail ride in the afternoon (which was actually about 3 hours). You meet at the Pines hotel (near there where the horses are kept) and then are taken by truck or van to where you will actually do the ride in the Red Canyon area of the National Forest nearby. When we went no one else had signed up so it ended up just being a "private tour" with Rose which was fantastic. We had a mixture, one experienced rider and one brand new rider but it was not an issue. The horses were great and Rose was a great guide. The animals looked well taken care of and they had a lot for the wrangler to choose from to get the right ones for the ride. The horses and people were given a break during the ride to take some pictures and get a drink. You can't take a backpack but there are saddlebags for the horses that fit a water bottle, snacks and a jacket or poncho for the rain that was threatening when we were there. Would definitely recommend and would do again if we were in the area.
