On a 10 day road trip through Utah and Arizona with my family and this ride was one of the highlights for all. My kids are 7 and 9 so we did the 2 hour ride. I (mom) was more nervous than any of them but our guide Mike definitely put us all at ease. The views were spectacular! The kids kept asking for the longer tour, I know there are longer ones but having never rode a horse I felt better starting with the 2 hour. I felt we could really trust those horses and Mike was awesome, stopping to take pictures at certain points and talk about points of interest for the kids. And then just enjoying the views quietly. Red Canyon is so beautiful, and around every turn is a better view. I would definitely go with Red Canyon tours again.

We did the half-day ride (wranglers were Steve and Rose). Red Canyon is beautiful, but that is standard in this area! It was my family, ranging from kids as young as 9 to grandparents that are 65+. It was perfect - the wranglers/guides made everyone comfortable, were incredibly kind (including Rose getting my nervous neice to turn from tears to happy giggles), and they were clearly experts. The horses were beautiful, obedient, and even the nervous in our party felt comfortable by the end. I recommend the half-day over the 2 hour, because the half-day tour takes you to the top of the canyon for breathtaking views, while the 2-hr stays lower in the canyon. Either way, you won't regret it!

Me and my boyfriend are on a month long road trip from Florida. We saw some horse trails while hiking and we drove past this place so we decided to give these guys a call and after inquiring found fair prices and a great staff! Mike and Gailene (I hope I spelled this right) were awesome! So friendly and helpful from start to finish, let me ride Buckarooooo and my boyfriend rode Preacher. Beautiful, healthy horses and they only do two rides a day so you know those horses arenā€™t overworked for all the tourists who come into town! Plenty of stops along the way for water breaks and pictures! If we ever come back to Utah, we will come back!!!
