What To Expect

Black Hills National Forest

Once the balloon is ready, you’ll gently take to the skies for an approximate 1-hour flight over the Black Hills National Forest. If you are new to ballooning, you’ll be surprised at the silence and serenity you’ll find high above the treetops. It’s truly magical. Upon landing, the ground crew will pack the balloon while you and your pilot celebrate the flight with complimentary champagne, light snacks and a story about the origin of hot air ballooning. Flights depart at sunrise and are weather dependent and always at the discretion of your experienced pilot.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This was really fun! The morning with the mist, sun rise, the fantastic view when you got up in the air, the only sound was the burner, excellent pilot, don’t miss the balloon ride if you visit Custer.

The air balloon was amazing. We loved every second of this. The view was incredible and the service was very helpful and kind. We especially loved the pilot he was funny.

I was on a mission to complete a bucket list goal: Visit all of America's 50 states. I celebrated this event with a Hot Air Balloon Flight over the Black Hills of South Dakota, the 50th state on my bucket list. It was a first class experience with a professional and confident pilot, Damien. I highly recommend these guys who all work together as a team to assure that you will have one of the best adventures of your life.
