I am currently in process of writing a formal review of your company with the BBB tonight. I booked this activity through Viator, of which falsely advertised this activity as hop on/hop off (at least being able to start the tour at a later point and get on the tour at your convenience, which is opposite to what Houston city tours said). We intended to catch the tour at the next stop as we were running a few minutes late. I was called by the woman from Houston tours saying that she would only wait 5 minutes. She also said that the ONLY spots she has left for rescheduling is 10am Monday-Friday to which I told her my boyfriend works everyday… we accepted her “offer” to reschedule to Monday at 10am (because we had no other option, but I knew we could not make it, which I expressed to her). On the date of our original ticket (2/6/22 Sunday), we got there at approx 10:10 but of course the tour was already gone since she waited until 10:05, so we just walked on foot around the city and explored. I called Viator as well as Houston city tours and neither would refund my money. The woman working at the Houston city tour was also very very rude to top it off. Since the Viator website falsely advertised the information AND Viator customer service also gave me the wrong info when I originally was booking, I fully expected to be refunded for this. The woman on the phone basically pointed the finger at Viator, but still, they work together and sell the tickets mutually so both parties should be on the same page and the customer should never have to suffer for the inefficiencies of their businesses. I have attached screenshots from Viator website falsely advertising the activity as having the ability to hop on at different sites throughout the tour. The ability to hop on and off was the ONLY REASON I was booking the activity. I still demand that you or Viator give me a refund. So unprofessional and disorganized. You guys should update your information because it is immoral for you to sell an activity to people with falsely advertised information. I also spent 45 minutes of my week in Houston on the phone with Viator customer service basically playing games with me. Great.
