The Seawall

After touring central Houston with your knowledgeable guide, transfer to a comfortable bus that takes you on a 55-minute drive to reach Galveston, a historic town located on the Gulf of Mexico. During your time in Galveston, enjoy close to three hours on your own to explore. You can purchase lunch in the historic Galveston Strand district then stroll the shops and soak in the small town’s ambiance. Visit the Galveston Seawall, a 10-mile levee with breathtaking views of Galveston Bay. I Throughout the day, learn from the informative commentary provided by your guide while a professional driver handles the navigation. You get to relax as you see iconic sites and learn about the history of Houston, Galveston and Texas during a fascinating 6-hour tour (including travel time to and from attractions.) The downtown Houston tour wasn't that great. More unimpressive concrete buildings than anything. But the Houston guide man was nice. The Galveston tour was not good. We drove past the beach! Got dropped off on the opposite concrete port side. Where there was nothing but a few franchise eateries. The ONLY reason to Galveston is for the beach. Our free time was only 2 hrs. That goes by fast. Esp. when the dolphin boat takes 1 hr & avg. restaurant wait time is 45min. Our Galveston guide man wasn't very good. He read from his phone for tour info.

Antonio was our guide and was super knowledgeable and professional. We did the city tour two days in a row and because we were a small group, he totally changed it up the second day and took us to all new places. Fantastic way to get an overview of the city!

I greatly enjoyed the Houston Sightseeing & Galveston Day trip combined. The Houston portion provides an overview of the city and what to see. The Galveston trip was memorable - a quick overview and history of the town. Loved the dolphins tour - the captain was terrific!
