The Seawall

After touring central Houston with your knowledgeable guide, transfer to a comfortable bus that takes you on a 55-minute drive to reach Galveston, a historic town located on the Gulf of Mexico. During your time in Galveston, enjoy close to three hours on your own to explore. You can purchase lunch in the historic Galveston Strand district then stroll the shops and soak in the small town’s ambiance. Visit the Galveston Seawall, a 10-mile levee with breathtaking views of Galveston Bay. I Throughout the day, learn from the informative commentary provided by your guide while a professional driver handles the navigation. You get to relax as you see iconic sites and learn about the history of Houston, Galveston and Texas during a fascinating 6-hour tour (including travel time to and from attractions.) Felt very spoiled during this trip, all the attention was on us, as if we had a private tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable about Houston and about Galveston . Felt safe , in the store they provided hand sanitizer and you can buy snacks prior ot the trip and souvenirs . We had a nice family day together and shared the history from the tour with other family members who have lived here for years and had no idea about an underground tunnel . The restaurants near the pier are very good and they have more shops one block away from drop off and the boat Ride was very nice and we saw so many dolphins and the Galveston face on the building. Overall , it was a great trip if you just want to take a break and learn about this lone star state.

Overall the tour is not at all worth. The tour had two parts (1) Houston Sightseeing (2) Galveston. The Houston sightseeing tour was about 1.5 hours, we did not have stops because we had to continue for the next Galveston tour. So, the tour was just going over all the buildings just from outside, which was not interesting. The second part of Galveston was also not worth. This part had one stop at Galveston that too not at the sea, it was just at boat terminal, which did not have any interesting view. The only good thing was the boat ride for watching dolphin (this costs $10 if you purchase separately). So, the complete tour was as if we are going to Galveston just for the boat ride and have lunch at the boat terminal.
