On May 15, the day of my tour and day trip, I arrived at the Houston City Tour location and was told I was the only one who wanted to go to Galveston so I was offered a complimentary city tour with full refund from Viator. A week later, I am still waiting to hear the status of my refund. Aside from that, it's a good thing the city tour ended up being "complimentary" because the young tour guide was late. The bus was supposed to leave at 9:50 (the vouchers say check in 15 minutes early) and it left closer to 10:30 d/t waiting on the tour guide to show up and was not a full 90 minute tour. This tour being free is the only way I would recommend it for anyone else.

I've used sightseeing tours in several states. The hotel recommended visiting the Houston Visitor Center for a trip to Galveston. The first portion of the tour was an hour City Tour onboard a double decker bus. This portion was fun and great overview of the city. Next we were transferred to a van to Galveston along with a tour to NASA. The AC on the van was not working properly. We sat outside waiting for the NASA tickets to print for close to 45 minutes. The Galveston tour was supposed to be 4 hours for sightseeing and lunch. With all of the delays we literally had 45 minutes for lunch prior to catching the boat for the dolphin tour. We contacted the company to inform them we would not be returning on the van and wanted a refund. Antonio was understanding and agreed to the refund. We ubered back for less than $60.00 and paid for a later dolphin tour at $12 each. This tour has great possibility and hopefully we hit it on a bad day.
