The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat

Look forward to another cruise . All staff was friendly . They talk about famous places and such . Get there early enough to find parking as it is hard to find with all the businesses down by the river .

Three of us enjoyed the wonderful cruise on the Hudson. We saw eagles and hot air balloons. I have been on the Rip Van Winkle several times over the years and always enjoy the ride.

The 2-hour cruise along the Hudson River is a great way to relax while taking in the sites, and learning about the history of the area. We took the sunset cruise; although alcohol is available, it was thankfully not a booze cruise. I wish that we would have brought binoculars; some of the sites were too far away to get a good view. Also, our views were obstructed by the foliage. The crew was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
