The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat
If you or someone in your group is in a wheelchair or has limited mobility, contact the tour operator to discuss accessibility

It was a perfect gathering place for a birthday gathering. A 2 hours beautiful cruise allowed us to enjoy the scenery learn a little and build an appetite for a late lunch. Plus a full bar prepared us for the celebration we had planned. Thanks

The Rip Van Winkle River Cruise has been one of favorite things to do for our four decades here in the beautiful Mid-Hudson River Valley. We have taken many friends and family on this cruise, and they and we have always enjoyed it. The service is as wonderful as the scenery. The ship is always clean, the staff friendly, and the narrative always interesting and informative. . Take the boat, and leave the driving to them! :-) p.s. I would give a '5' if they would extend the cruise a bit longer and further south (to the Hyde Park Train Station.)

Great cruise will definitely go back. My 11 year old grandson was treeted so nice by your staff made him fell like he was helping to run the boat. Thank you for giving him this great memorie
