Just looking for something different to do for my birthday, and the town of Kingston came up as a cute place to visit, especially the old section down by the river. When I saw the ad for Hudson River Cruises, we were in. The weather was glorious, and the scenery along the river was lovely. There was excellent narration of the things we passed, much of it historical. It was simply a great way to spend two hours. Price was very affordable. There was inexpensive food and drink for sale. (Beer and wine, too!) We enjoyed the cruise and the weather! It was relaxing and informative. I'm not sure if very young children would enjoy it as they would not be able to run all over the decks. Appropriate for school age children and up. It is handicap accessible. If you cannot climb stairs, you would have to stay on the lowest deck, which is luckily where the restrooms and snack bar is located.

Great weather for the 2:30 cruise from Kingston. Continuous narrative of the sights on the river. Sailed downstream to Vanderbilt Mansion. Great historical perspective along the way. Sat on the outside deck but lots of room inside, if preferred. Recommend for a break in the frantic travels between sights!

A great way to relax and see the beautiful Hudson valley! We have taken this cruise before and will do it again. Our favorite of all the Hudson river cruises.
