My husband and I did not like the experience at all. When we got on the line the food was cold. We ask one of the crew members if we could get some water and he did not know what to say but what he said was that the water belong to the staff. The dessert was frozen served on a little cup containing frozen pound cake and frozen fruit. I do not recommend this cruise to anyone. Also no announcement of historical points of interest. Sorry.

Thank for taking the Dinner Cruise on the Hudson with Hudson River Cruises. We apologize that you did not enjoy the cruise. We had almost 150 people on the boat that night and no guests mentioned that the food was cold. It's kept warm in chaffing dishes and with sternos just like any catered event and it's always gotten great reviews. The cake and fruit is not frozen but it is served in a cup to make it easier to eat on the boat. We have live music on the this cruise an it is not intended to be a narrated cruise as that would take away from the ambiance and experience for guests enjoying the views and music. We do offer a narrated cruise daily which covers history, architecture and many points of interest in the river. We hope to see you another time.

Very nice tour of the Hudson River. The crew were skilled, the ship clean and comfortable, the narration interesting and the views beautiful. Recommend this one!

In Autumn 2015, I found the Landing with ease, boarded right away, and enjoyed a delightful trip on the Hudson with other sight seers. I had ample space to sketch and do a little watercolour, whilst visiting with fellow passengers. The weather turned inclement and the hot chocolate hit the spot! After we reached the lighthouse and turned back, the sun returned, matched only by the warm reception we received from the friendly, helpful crew. I still have my picture taken with a crew member when I boarded. I recommend this cruise, and will do it again when I return to New York state. A fun way to look up at the mansions along the Hudson that you will visit when you get to Hyde Park, Poughkeespie, and Rhinebeck.
