Very relaxing trip on the Hudson River with very good commentary on the sights. Multiple gorgeous estates can be seen. Plenty of free parking close to the departure point. Best to sit up top for best views. If free midweek, less crowded.

While this is a very pleasant cruise and the staff were quite accommodating the problem is there are not a lot of very interesting things to see on the Hudson, short of marveling at the river itself and some historic rich folks mansions. However it is a fine way to while away a couple of hours in a relaxing manner.

The Rip is a nice boat. It boards on the Strand in Kingston at the foot of Broadway. It is located on the Rondout Creek. It goes down the Creek or op? Into the Hudson River. The Hudson is a great river with a lot of history and beautiful scenes. The views are amazing in terms of the terrain. You will also see some of the Mansions along the Hudson. When you return to the Rondout you will be in Restaurant Row. Lots of great places to eat and its very difficult to not get a great meal.
