The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat
If you or someone in your group is in a wheelchair or has limited mobility, contact the tour operator to discuss accessibility

Spent two hours on the Rip Van Winkle. Lovely day. Nice narration. Plus a beer! Staff was helpful and friendly, and the views were amazing. I'm a Hudson Valley gal and I saw things I'd never seen before. Definitely a worthwhile jaunt, and the Rondout area is lots of fun.

We were terribly disappointed with our experience with Hudson River Cruises. At the time the cruise was to leave they cancelled the cruise because they has not sold 35 tickets. No mention of this policy had been given to any of the paying customers when tickets were purchased. The owner told the customers there was nothing she would do for them then rudely turned her back and walked away. It was even more disappointing to discover that their policy of needing 35 passengers before taking off is arbitrary as the prior cruise did not have 35 passengers. They should make customer service a higher priority.

A lovely afternoon on the Hudson River with a group of 7. The crew was highly efficient and professional. The 2 hour cruise was skillfully narrated with interesting historical tidbits which added to the enjoyment of the day. It was a great experience all around and our family ranging in ages 12-85 highly recommend it.
