The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat

Fun on the water - cruise the river while listening to live music. Snacks and various beverages available

I grew up in the Mid-Hudson Valley and have been up and down both sides of the Hudson on land, but this was the first time I've gotten to see the landscape from the river. The narration with some of the local history was helpful and the scenery was beautiful. I bet it''s spectacular in the fall. The boat wasn't very crowded the day we went, but I would recommend getting there early so you can get a good seat. We sat right in the front so we had a mostly unobstructed view the whole time.

A two-hour cruise out of Kingston NY that was a fun and interesting way to spend a couple of pleasant hours. We went south on the river as far as the Vanderbilt mansion and saw many interesting landmarks along the way. The day we were out, we saw 4 bald eagles (very close by). A nice little outing. And there are restaurants with dining on the river in that area.
