Much better than I expected. The crew was great, especially the bartender, Eric, who really took pride in his job. The captain's narration of the sights was just right: just enough commentary, delivered in a voice melodious enough for radio. If you are a person that needs constant stimulation, this may not be for you, but if you want a spectacular view of one of the Hudson Valley's greatest treasures delivered by riverboat, don't hesitate to try this out. Our tour had only a half-filled capacity, so it was nice to be able to spread out. I am really looking forward to taking this tour in the fall. I also don't know why some reviewers were upset about the bathrooms. They were absolutely fine! This is a small tour boat and not the Ritz afterall!

This was a wonderful cruise from historic Kingston NY south to Hyde Park. It was the perfect length of time and there are some really nice restaurants right on the water in Kingston for a nice meal after the cruise.

The historical presentation was all recorded instead of any employee on the cruise. It was nothing more than what was provided at the maritime museum. A waste of 2 hours. Employees were very nice

Thank you for taking the cruise with us. Our recording is actually voice over by an employee and includes character voices of those who lived and worked along the river. We feel this adds a lot of depth to the sightseeing cruise as most of our guests appreciate. It also provides great consistency. It is quite different than what is offered at the Maritime Museum. A visit to Kingston should certainly include both!
