The boat has a lower enclosed deck, a middle deck which is a shaded but otherwise open are, and an open air upper deck with bench seating.
A fully stocked bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a snack bar with light fare such as hot dogs & fresh popped popcorn is available on the lower main deck at your own expense.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed on board the boat
There is plenty of seating on the boat, both inside and on the upper deck, which consists mainly of bench-style seating; the main lower deck has chairs; seating is on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early if you’d like to sit in a particular area of the boat

The starting point of this trip in Kingston NY is an interesting and importsnt town in the history of the Hudson River Valley. The boat trip was informative as well as very beautiful. I think the company provided great value for money. Highly recommended.

Great evening on the river. Enjoyed the cruise and a good cigar. It was dinner-time - please add some food and increase the price... would gladly pay to have food in addition to cigars and the bar.

I took my elderly mother and her childhood friend to Kingston, NY from northwestern Connecticut for a two-hour Hudson River cruise on the Rip Van Winkle. A very fun and informative time for all three of us. The weather didn't cooperate at first -- cold and wet -- but it started to clear about twenty minutes into the trip. Gorgeous scenes of estates, mansions, lighthouses and fall foliage. My only suggestion: more food options for vegetarians. Our friend had to choose between a roasted hot dog or microwaved cheeseburger. Pop corn isn't lunch! I have recommended this cruise to several friends already.
