Everyone we encountered with Airborne Adventures was friendly and helpful. Craig, our pilot, was very knowledgeable and not only a great tour guide, but also reassuring in explaining the operation of the helicopter. I have previously taken 3 helicopter tours of Kauai during the past 10 years and this was the best experience of all of them. Although the "doors off" concept was somewhat daunting, the actual adventure was "a piece of cake!" I agree with previous reviewers and recommend a windbreaker. Highly recommended ! Mahalo, Airborne!

This is a safe calm and exciting ride over the most beautiful place on planet earth. Wear warm clothes because it is cool and breezy. Doors off makes for a memorable ride. These guys were real pros.

Best part of our whole vacation. The pilots were great, everyone was professional, and it’s reassuring knowing that this is the same company/people who do search and rescue missions for the island. I 100% recommend booking through these guys for your helicopter tour! We were surprised when we got there and found out there were no doors on the helicopter, but after experiencing it I will never want to ride in a helicopter any other way. It was a rush and extremely beautiful. I’ve done at least 5 helicopter tours in Kauai and this was the best one. You get better photos and videos, where as every other time I’ve done it you’ll get a glare from the window in all of your photos and videos. The wind is very strong so don’t hold your phones way out but they do provide lanyards so you don’t drop your phone. I don’t recommend doing this for small kids but teenagers and up, or couples, this will be the most memorable trip they’ll ever have. I recorded the whole trip so I can’t upload photos, plus I feel like it will spoil it for when you’re up there. Take my word for it; and just see it for yourself!
