Our tour was amazing. Our tour guide, Frank, was a Chinatown native. He knew all the local scoop. Each stop for food was incredible. The markets were bustling and filled with many uniques things. This was truly an incredible way to see Chinatown!!

From the moment we started, the tour was amazing. Frank, who grew up in Chinatown and seemed to know everyone (based on how many people greeted him along the way), gave a comprehensive, concise, easy-to-understand social history of Chinatown and its people. There were three of us (a delightful young German couple and myself), and Frank took a genuine interest in each of us, making sure that he was covering things that we wanted to learn. Pick-up and drop-off were seamless. As for me, I wanted to eat some authentic Chinese food and then go to markets to actually see in raw form what we had just eaten so I could go to a market myself and know what I was looking at/buying. Frank encouraged us to take photos of the food in the restaurants, then take photos of the food in the markets so we could match everything up after the tour. As he said, "the camera gets the first bite"! if you are looking for a tour that personalizes Chinatown and gives you the pleasure of meeting one of the most generous and knowledgeable guides you will ever meet, take this tour!! Frank is a life force himself, he is so excited about the town he has called home for his entire life. And..... I will never go into another bakery again without comparing it to the Yummy Bakery on Grant Ave. The delicacy of their pastry truly left me breathless (I went back to get some more delicacies after the tour ended!). Tina, thank you so much for hanging in their and working with my schedule to find a tour that worked. Your personal attention was incredible. Kathie A Cedarburg, WI
