I visited Healdsburg with a group of friends and we visited the Williamson tasting room based off of several glowing recommendations. We were not disappointed. The wine was the best I tasted all weekend. The food pairings were delicious. I ended up purchasing several bottles of wine and a jar of truffle salt, which I now put on everything. George was very welcoming and made our experience memorable. He explained how to taste the wines with the food, and some of what makes their wines different from others. If you are in the Healdsburg square, you should stop by the Williamson tasting room. You will not regret it.

Everyone has their opinion of good wines and I’m not going to combat that! What I’m here to say I if you want a true experience you can’t go wrong with Williamson Wines in Healdsburg, CA. The quality of their wines are top shelf and more importantly is the experience of the food pairings they offer. Each staff member knows their stuff! Thanks to Rob and Kyle (wine educators) for making our visits so special. Watching the HD TV’s of their YouTube videos of the many food receipts will make you go from hungry to STARVING……. The owners Dawn and Bill Williamson are often onsite to great their guests and they truly make you feel welcome. They look you in the eye and truly want you to experience what makes them exceptionally better than the others. In addition to the superb wines they offer a plethora of spices and truffle salts which are beyond explanation. It’s just off the Healdsburg center park square where there are many quaint stores and shops to venture. You have my word that this is a class act. Tell them Jeff sent you.

We were looking around in a cute little gift shop in downtown Healdsburg and the woman in the shop recommended trying Williamson which was next door. She said the tasting was free (yes, I said free), and they had food pairings. We tried it out. We were greeted by the owner and learned the story of the winery. Our server Amber was awesome. She would bring a wine, let us taste it, then offer a little appetizer to go with it. In addition to wine, they sell all sorts of condiments for the appetizers they serve. First, the wines were wonderful and the food samples amazing. We loved the apple horseradish jam among other tasty bites. They sell a line of cheeses also. The owner's son came over to chat and then sent over a tasting of one of their reserve wines. They have recipes on their website with food pairings for their wines. This was a wonderful, unplanned stop on our trip. Highly recommend stopping in here.
