We spent a 2 day get-away in Phili to celebrate my husbands birthday. I picked this tour because I thought it would be a different spin in comparison to the American History tours that Philadelphia is usually associated with. We were SO impressed at the job Chuck did getting us acquainted with the Italian Market area. We had no idea how much history and family generational influence existed here in this town. Not only did we walk the streets, taste samples, and learn about legendary "cheesesteaks" ... we got to actually tour inside the heart of these businesses that have been around for 3-4 generations. The owners are proud and very happy to show you around, try their food, and talk to you about their own family businesses. Chuck also included so many interesting stories and background history about Philadelphia that actually gives it it's charm and uniqueness. It was also so touching to see how much he loves where he lives, takes pride in his work, and loves sharing the city's best with all who visit! We had an AMAZING time on this tour... we didn't want it to end! It was the highlight of our trip!! Thank you Chuck and Urban Adventures!! You were phenomenal!!

I wanted to walk through the Italian Market (thanks to the Rocky movies obviously) but also to get a feel for the "real" Philadelphia, after spending a lot of time in traffic for the previous few days. Wow this was the perfect way to do that! Nina my guide was THE BEST - she told me great stories and showed me the heart of the city, also giving me direction for the next couple of days' activities. The market was everything I had hoped with yummy food and a lively atmosphere, and the business owners took time to actually connect with the audience when they talked about their shops, not just giving a practiced spiel but making it real and personal. The experience was only two hours but stands out as a highlight of my entire holiday. Awesome.

Me, my wife and my son went on a »Italien Market Tour« nov 28 2017 and I can tell you it was absolutely super. My daughter lives I Philly since 2005 and we have visit her a lot, and I cant only regret we didn’t do this tour many years ago. It did broaden our knowledge about Philly. And with the nice guide Nina, a great personality it was a super experience. I can only say – if you visit Philadelphia, do »The Italian Market Tour«. Excuse my bad english, I’m from Sweden.
