The Iconic New York City Tour is a 4 hour walking photo tour that begins in midtown Manhattan at the very busy Grand Central Terminal (1 million commuters passing through it everyday!) This is the classic New York City sightseeing featured in films and literature. The tour continues with Iconic architecture and historical information about the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building, and much more.

What To Expect

Shoot New York City

This is a private tour. My tours are designed for those who want to discover New York City, with or without camera. Included are historical, architectural and cultural information about the city. As well, suggestions are offered about how to get around town or other places you might want to visit while you’re here. Photos documenting your tour can also be included. For photo tours (beginners to advanced) assistance is provided on camera use, techniques and photographic opportunities to achieve the best shot. Genres include (but are not limited to) urban landscapes, graffiti and street photography. I specialize in customized tours to suit your specific interests and any of the sample tours can be modified or we can start from scratch.

Leanne was an excellent teacher and gave great tips that were both beginner friendly and also tips for improving my skills in street photography. I feel I learned a ton from her, and she led us through multiple areas for photography opportunities. Highly recommended even if you're seasoned pro!

I've done some street photography before but Leanne has really helped me to take it to new levels! We spent two half days and one full day with Leanne in September. We were able to explore New York in ways we wouldn't have been able to on our own. Leanne took us to some of her favourite spots and certainly helped us to see, with new eyes, opportunities we otherwise might have walked right past.
