Incredible Aurora Viewing Adventure

Overview

* The adventure starts in our warm, modern luxury VIP sprinter van to one or more locations that, depending on weather, will be best for viewing.
* Learn from a local expert about Fairbanks and Alaska in a small group setting (no more than 14 guests)
* Training on how to take photos of the Incredible Northern Lights with hands-on assistance
* Enjoy looking up stargazing into the universe, glamour at the constellations, maybe catch a shooting star, and chase the Aurora Borealis
* Per request, while waiting for Aurora we offer a campfire with delicious, homegrown, Alaskan reindeer hot dogs
* On evenings when the Northern Lights are exceptionally active, we may stay out later for your enjoyment
* Aurora Portraits are included if desired for FREE.
We will only go out when we know we are going to see some Aurora. If you are scheduled for a day and the weather is not favorable we will call and suggest a better day.

We had a great experience viewing the aurora. The entire company was very professional and they know their stuff. We had flexibility in our schedule, and when we were informed there would be better conditions the night after our original booking, we changed our date, and it turned out to be an outstanding aurora night. We were brought to an area about 20 miles outside of Fairbanks and had a clear sky the entire evening for viewing an active aurora. The tour guides set up campfires and had a refreshment station with cocoa and coffee, and even though the temps were in the low 30's, it was a very pleasant nighttime outing. I would highly recommend.

Although we couldn’t see the lights, the guides really tried. They were helpful, very polite and changed the point of observation twice to get away from clouds. Beverages and sausages were served at the first stop. We it had appeared that night, we would have seen it for sure. Beautiful pictures were shared afterwards. To improve, information about the aurora phenomenon could be given along the way.

This was my boyfriend and I's first time seeing the Northern Lights and we honestly had a great time with our guides. They were very hospitable, setting up a variety of drinks and a campfire to roast our reindeer hot dogs in while we waited for the lights to show up. They were very patient with taking photos of us with their professional camera. Overall I would have recommended this tour and would have given a 5 star rating if not for the poor communication after the experience. My group and I were told that it would take up to a week to get our professional photos with the Northern Lights sent to us. 10 days passed since the tour so I sent a text to their provided phone number and they responded that they were still working on it. It has now been over 2 weeks since we went on the tour and still no photos. I called and the employee who answered said they needed certain equipment to get the photos ready but they should be able to send the photos later today. I still have not received any link to the photos that were taken. Pretty disppointed in the lack of clear communication as the experience itself was amazing and we were really looking forward to receiving those photos to show our loved ones.
