Incredible Aurora Viewing Adventure

Overview

* The adventure starts in our warm, modern luxury VIP sprinter van to one or more locations that, depending on weather, will be best for viewing.
* Learn from a local expert about Fairbanks and Alaska in a small group setting (no more than 14 guests)
* Training on how to take photos of the Incredible Northern Lights with hands-on assistance
* Enjoy looking up stargazing into the universe, glamour at the constellations, maybe catch a shooting star, and chase the Aurora Borealis
* Per request, while waiting for Aurora we offer a campfire with delicious, homegrown, Alaskan reindeer hot dogs
* On evenings when the Northern Lights are exceptionally active, we may stay out later for your enjoyment
* Aurora Portraits are included if desired for FREE.
We will only go out when we know we are going to see some Aurora. If you are scheduled for a day and the weather is not favorable we will call and suggest a better day.

We went early September so we weren't sure if we would see the auroras. We also received a text message early in the day from the team with information on weather, visibility, kp index, and likelihood of seeing the lights. It was cloudy that day and chances were slim, so they gave us the chance to continue with the trip, reschedule to a date in the near future with better chances (they gave us a specific date ~4-5d from our initial date), or cancel. We were only in Fairbanks for 2 days so figured we'd just give it a shot. They picked us up from the hotel, and drove outside the city in hopes for better visibility. The guide was very friendly and informative. Once we got there, they set up a fire and had drinks available, which was nice. The lights amazingly showed up that night and put on a great show!! It was truly incredible, they had chosen a perfect location with minimal obstructions, and they also took pictures for and of us with the lights. All in all, highly recommend Aurora in Alaska. Amazing customer service, offered lots of flexibility, sought out the best location for best chances of viewing, and helped with pictures. What more could you ask for?

Great viewing location and super easy with our pick up at the Hampton Inn in Fairbanks. The road journey wa a bit bumpy and took about an hour coming and going. We really had a great show!

Thank you for joining us. I’m glad we were able to make it easy for pick up and drop off. We like to think of our Alaskan roads as mini rollercoasters, since there is no real amusement parks in the state. I truly hope you had a wonderful evening with us and a great show from the Auroras.
