What To Expect

Denali National Park and Preserve

With clear sky conditions, guests can view Mountain Denali in all its wonder, as well as the many mountains surrounding Fairbanks.

Fairbanks

Breathtaking views of the Aurora Borealis from some of our key Northern Light viewing locations. We will make sure you get to see the Aurora

Chena River State Recreation Area

Each night guests can view the beautiful scenery that surrounds Fairbanks, including the beautiful Chena River and surrounding lakes, streams and more.

Felix Pedro Monument

Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point

Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

The tour coordination was thorough and good info on how to prepare for the experience. Our driver was amazing (Andre) and we felt we were in good hands with him at the wheel so late at night. We were able to catch the lights more through our camera than naked eye but it was still memorable . Tour provided lots of extra touches like hotel pick up and drop off, food, drinks, hot fire pits, and fireworks. Photography service was clutch if couldn’t get good pictures with phone. All the staff was great. Would definitely recommend.

I booked 3 northern lights, excursions, and this one was absolutely the best! The guides were personable and experienced. The transportation was safe and reliable, and a great surprise was to arrive at our area and have a campfire set up with hot drinks. This tour even provided professional photography. I was beyond impressed, amazed, and extremely happy!

I was a little skeptical about the price, but it was totally worth it! Our guides were super knowledgeable and took us further away then I thought they would just so we could see the lights! We actually went out one night and didn't see anything, but since it was an Aurora guarantee night we got to go out for a second night for free! I think they are the only company that offers this guarantee! The second night we went out they drove us 2 hours away just so we could see the lights! I highly recommend this company and loved that we were in a large group with other vans it made the camp fire even more enjoyable!
