Kayak or Paddleboard with Cocoa Kayaking on the Indian River! Great Wildlife Viewing! Manatees, Dolphins, Horseshoecrabs, Comb Jellies and Floridian Birds! Manatee Season: March - October.

Go off the grid and paddle the Gorgeous Florida waterway on the Indian River!

*Manatee Mating Season: March - August.

*Max weight limit: 400 pds per single/tandem kayak. 280 pds for Paddleboard.

*Best wildlife viewing: 9:00 am and 12:00 pm tours.

*Tour length: 1 hour and 30 minutes, plus a brief instruction.

*Photos included! Photos emailed/texted up to 48 hours after guided tour.

*Small personal tours! No more than 12 people!

*Cell phone dry boxes and dry bags available upon arrival.

*Life jackets available for 30lbs and up.

(* What to bring: plenty of water, sunscreen, wide brim hat, bug spray and a towel. No shoes allowed in clear bottom kayaks. Bathrooms are available at this location.)

Myself, my husband and 2 daughters aged 17 & 15 booked this tour as something different from the parks. We had Joy as our guide who was clearly passionate about wildlife especially manatees and was so interesting. We saw some dolphins and lots of manatees, a few came right up to the kayak, it was so magical and such a privilege. It was probably the highlight of my stay in Florida, so glad we booked it. Great experience.

We had an AMAZING experience for our anniversary trip! We had two tandem kayaks for us and our two teenage daughters. Our guide Captain Michael Knecht was so very friendly and knowledgeable. He taught us so much about the local plants and animals, and when we told him we really wanted to see a manatee, he put in 200% effort to find us one!! We also saw wild dolphins hunting (including a momma and baby!). Capt. Mike hopped out of his boat to grab a horseshoe crab for us to see close up, and taught us all about them. We also saw stingrays, blue Herons, green Herons, ibis, ospreys, cormorants, and many different cool fish! Such a great experience. I also love that they took pictures of us so that we got good group shots! Thank you so much!!!

This was a great way to spend time together with my adult children. James, our tour guide, was very nice. He took some nice photos to remember our trip. He was knowledgeable and did his best to find dolphins and manatees. We did experience a dolphin swim by us. The kids saw a stingray and fish were jumping out of the water. Unfortunately, no manatees were around. I would recommend this activity.
