Almost everything was top notch! Definitely worth a visit. The food was good especially for a buffet style meal. The pork cooked buried was very good. The service was excellent and the entertainment was too. It did feel as though the main stage guy was just filling time by singing a few too many songs with unintelligible lyrics. But the beginning act and the fire show at the end were great!

As the title of this review suggests, this was our first family Luau so this review needs to be viewed with some caution. We arrived at around 5pm the night of the show and we were seated without delay. One important option to consider is paying a bit more to sit closer to the front. Not only are you served first, so the food is at it's best but you are better able to see the show and to hear explanations of the various dances of the different island cultures throughout Polynesia. Guests sitting at our table, all veterans of many of these celebrations, reported that none of the other production/dance companies do nearly the thorough job this group does in providing excellent performances and information about the culture milieu where these ceremonial dances developed. The overall quality of this Luau was excellent. The food was generally quite good but none of us were huge fans of the Poi. Watch the free Mai Tais. They are free and taste really g!od but he batch we had were really strong. Enjoy the show and have fun.

We did this luau on Thanksgiving, so it was a little extra cost. Not sure where that money went, as I think they had the same food as other days. We showed up late due to a big issue with our car rental company, so we missed the opening and the entrance of the court. Good music during dinner. The show itself was interesting and cool to see the different cultural dances. We did the preferred seating since it was our honeymoon, which was good since we were late. However they sat us right up front, so we had to move back to actually enjoy watching the show without hurting our necks.
