All guests must check-in at 5:30 pm at the Aloali'i Cultural Resource Center, located in the lobby of the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel, on the day of the luau, to exchange their mobile or paper ticket for their entry wristbands.

Had to be inside due to the weather. Although it didn’t even rain the entire night. We were sat in the back and weren’t allowed to choose our seating like it says. We couldn’t see anything and the service was sub par at best. Super disappointed with how much money we spent and the treatment we had. Would not recommend.

I say poor not because this is my first time but, poor because we were forced to be inside and the we paid an experience with 7 people and didn’t get it! We can’t go to Hawaii without ending the night with a luau, but it felt like we were in a wedding hall and knew no one! No sunset so beautiful sky’s! It was awful, the dancers are a 5 but the way things were handled we all deserve at least Half for a refund!

Communication was not great. Not very well thought out for elderly or disabled. Paid $63 for parking only to learn we could have parked at hotel. Then getting to the spot, the couple we were with were elderly and had trouble walking only To be sent all the way back to get the wrist bands. Asked if we could just have grandma get a chair, told NO, go have her sit on rock wall. We had gotten there early too. Then getting in, different people saying and telling us different things… had to walk all the way to the table with someone only To find out that wasn’t the area, then he told to wait there while he figured out where we needed to be… we waited then to be moved to a NOT so good spot where the little girls couldn’t see anything. We thought food was great and the dancers were amazing… liked that they had food options for the little kids. By the time I got to get a gingerale as my ONLY drink… they were out. I paid for the print pictures BEFORE 7pm and never received them. I asked where to get them and no one knew what I was talking about. Soooo, I think my money could have been spent better somewhere else
