All guests must check-in at 5:30 pm at the Aloali'i Cultural Resource Center, located in the lobby of the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel, on the day of the luau, to exchange their mobile or paper ticket for their entry wristbands.

The luau is held in a beautiful oceanfront setting near the historic Kamakahonu Bay. Guests of the Island Breeze Luau will enjoy a backdrop of passing boats, outrigger canoes, Mt Hualalai and the twinkling lights of Kona.

The entertainment was really good! Very interesting to learn the culture of the different islands in Polynesia. The food was fine. The roasted pig was good, but the Mahi was extremely fishy tasting.

Food was great, as was the show. We purchased general seating tickets and had a good seat. We were about 10th in line. Parking is $5 with a validated ticket. Just an FYI to folks with mobility issues, it is a decent walk from parking area to where you check in and then to lu’au area. Restrooms are in the hotel. The star of the show is the fire dancer, he was amazing!

Food and show marvelous. Seating is an issue. Buy VIP because if you get general seating you might not be able to see. I sat next to a gentleman who did not consider others. I had to go stand in back to see the show.
