Thank You Dee Dee for the most amazing day of our overseas trip. Dee Dee is the wonderful owner operator of Home Grown Tours and we could not recommend her company more highly. I am the original Jaws fanatic(which was the primary reason for visiting the island) and was looking for the ultimate Jaws experience for me as well as a great full island tour for myself and my wife. Dee Dee more than delivered on every single detail. Booking our tour and talking to Dee Dee prior to our visit was like finding an old friend. She made me feel so welcome and could not do enough for me. She offered us a very flexible tour and promised to fulfill all of my Jaws wishes. We felt like we had made a friend even before the day. On the day we were greeted by beautiful Dee Dee who had flowers for my wife and a couple of bottles of champagne for us. (I had merely mentioned we were travelling for the first time in 34 years). We were blown away by Dee Dee's service, her knowledge of the island and all it's colourful history. Dee Dee would have forgotten more about Martha's Vineyard than any other tour operator could possibly remember and we got to see it all. I think I helped her with a little Jaws knowledge but she still surprised with me with some of the filming locations I wasn't aware of. We had an absolutely fabulous day. Please do yourself a favour. If you are even thinking about a visit or tour around Martha's Vineyard, you HAVE to call Dee Dee before you do anything. She will even organise your transfers from the ferry if need be and all at very reasonable rates. She is simply a wonderful girl, born on the island who can not do enough for you. Thank you so much Dee Dee. You gave us a day we will never forget. We will be back to see you again.

We can't say enough about this tour with DeeDee. There's nothing like hopping in an SUV with a local showing us her island. We were here around Easter at the very beginning of the tourist season. DeeDee gave us a great deal and showed us the entire island. Do not make the mistake of taking a bus tour with gobs of people you don't know; keep it small and intimate with your close family and friends. DeeDee also is expanding her business to make travel and sightseeing more conducive for patrons with disabilities-give her a call, you won't be disappointed!

We just completed our second tour with DeeDee, whom we first met through a friend. A history buff, she serves up colorful details about the island's past and complements them with her own memories of things as they were when she was a kid growing up on Martha's Vineyard. DeeDee will take you to sites everyone else goes to -- if that's what you want. But to get the best out of your hours with her, just let her choose the route, which combines the historical with the personal. You won't be disappointed.
