My family and I loved DeeDee’s 2-hour tour of the island. DeeDee’s bus accommodated our large party of 17 and she came to pick us up from the vacation home where we were staying, which was a pleasant surprise. DeeDee was personable and very flexible when it came to customizing our tour. Just let her know if there is something special you want to see and DeeDee will go out of her way to make it happen. She even checked the weather for us before booking our tour so we could avoid the rain. DeeDee is thoughtful, friendly, and eager to share the unique history of the island from firsthand knowledge and family experiences. I loved the historic photos that are shown via TV screen while on the tour, which gave insight into how the island looked back in the day. There were also plenty of snacks and refreshments readily available on the tour bus. What more can you ask for? You will not be disappointed when you take a tour with DeeDee!

Dede was the best!!! She grew up on the island so she adds "personal up-to-date" stories to the tour. We had never been to Martha's Vineyard before so this was very informative and exciting AND the highlight of our trip to the Boston area. Dede picked us up at our vacation rental in Oak Bluffs. She pointed out many scenes from the movie JAWS. She shared a lot of history about how the island was formed, pointed out all of the beaches and the different areas of farming vs towns. She made us laugh and stopped at Edgartown, Chilmark chocolates, at the lighthouse in Menemsha, told us the history of Tisburyas we drove through. She stopped at a local fishing area for us to see live lobsters and the opportunity to get the best lobster roll on the island. She took us to the Gingerbread Houses and strolled with us shaing how it started and interesting architectural designs. She was so accomodating and if we wanted a few extra minutes she accomodated us graciously. You feel like family and are treated so warmly.

Thank you so much. I cant tell you how much your group made the tour what it was... You all were so fun!! Remember, you will always have a friend on MV!! Cant wait to see you guys again sometime!! By the way, the chocolates never made it home!!!! LOL

Dolores was amazing! A wealth of knowledge to share. Learned and saw so much in our limited 3 hour tour. The ferry over arrived late but she didn't let that stop us. We fit a ton into the time we had. Would have loved to spend more time with her and at MV. Was VERY cold that day...so our only 'negative' about our tour was that we did not stop, get out, look around and take photos as much as we would have liked. But that certainly wasn't Dolores's fault LOL! Definitely take her tour!
