Beautiful drive to Moran, only to arrive at an unloved, dilapidated, disorganized ranch. Horses appeared well fed enough, but were dirty and in a bad way for some TLC. Staff was not even remotely friendly. Guide was accusatory and uninterested in us as customers. There are other places to enjoy the view, go to another ranch.

The horses were well trained for a nose to butt mountain trail ride. Great group of other riders and the wrangler was very friendly with lots of facts to share about the area. Lunch was great too. The stunning scenery unmatched. Only complaint was that our 4 hour ride started an hour late, which put us an hour late getting where we were going next, which caused a bit of a hassle for our next plans. Would still do it again though.

The most memorable was when I asked fir a smaller horse and I was told no then because I couldnā€™t control my horse and I was terrified I had the guides help me off the horse. All before the rude even began.

It is important that everyone read this review: Guests are matched based upon height and weight for the safety of the horse and rider. A heavy guest must ride a larger horse to protect the rider and guest from injury. Safety is our primary concern. We are inclusive and can handle all persons up to 300 pounds so long as the safety of the horses is also met. We will never endanger an animal for a participants preference as this is not safe for the horse and rider.
